End of Summer, New Beginnings in the Studio

As summer winds down, I’m beginning to shift back into my studio rhythm. I have a new commission I’ll be starting soon, and I’m excited to see where the creative journey takes me. My artwork continues to do well in the Island’s gift shops, with steady sales of originals, prints, notecards, and bookmarks—thank you to everyone supporting local art!

I’ve also given my website a refresh so it’s easier to explore my collection. Be sure to stop by and see what’s new. This fall, I’ll be taking an advanced watercolour class to stretch my skills and bring even more variety to my work.

Right now, I’m finishing up an oil painting of Greenwich, featuring the iconic dunes and the boardwalk—such a beautiful part of PEI. Before camping season wraps up, I plan to capture a few more seascape photos to use as inspiration for future paintings.

Here’s to new beginnings, fresh inspiration, and the cozy months ahead in the studio.

To see my latest work, visit www.juneellis.com, follow me on Instagram and Facebook, or reach out to commission your own painting—I only accept a limited number each year.

In the Studio

At this time, I am highlighting one of my summer oil paintins that recently sold at The Dunes, in Brackley, PEI. I think this really says 'summer'.

Thank you for being a part of my art journey.

I love being a PEI Artist. I am fortunate to live on Prince Edward Island where we are surrounded by beautiful scenary.
