June's Easel - PEI from an artist's perspective
Fall Reflections is an original oil painting of one of the many beautiful scenes on Prince Edward Island, a location close to where I live. Yes, I am still into the fall colors. It is 11x14 on stretched canvas, framed and ready to go to a new home. (Message me if you are interested.)
Hi, hope everything is well with you. The leaves have pretty well finished falling here and already a few flakes of snow have come down. A warning to tell us, we better get our wood in for the winter. We are always late getting that chore done. Hopefully, next week at the latest.

In the Studio
I recently sent a request out on Facebook for photos to use as reference for upcoming paintings. What a response I received! Thank you to all who contributed. I now have about 20 paintings that I want to get started on. This will definitely keep me busy over the winter and spring. Stay tuned for new paintings!
Tips for the Artist in You...
If you have been away from painting for awhile an easy fix is to pick up some very small canvases. By that, I mean 5x7 inches. They get you back into your zone and can be fun as well. Have a look at the flower picture below. I call her "My Lady".

"My Lady" a miniature painting that I did to get me back in the mood to paint. Sometimes doing some quick small paintings can get you excited to get back into your studio. Please enjoy before I put this little cutie onto my website.
It has been nice chatting with you. Looking forward to hearing from you. Take Care. June
