Happy Easter Weekend

Easter and Lilies seem to go together don't you think?

Pink Lilies is an 11x14 framed oil painting (available) https://www.juneellis.com/product-page/pink-lilly-s

Happy Easter

I wanted to take a quick moment to send my best wishes to you and yours for a Happy Easter weekend. I feel very fortunate to own and operate a small business on this beautiful Island and that simply would not be possible without the tremendous support I receive from customers and followers just like yourself, thank-you so much.

In the Studio I have a big announcement to make.

I was sent an email by Laetro Studio stating, "You were recommended for your amazing work" and they wanted to know if I would be interested in participating in a project with one of their clients, Google Canada.

It is a project featuring Canadian and First Nations Artists and Photographers from across the country. The goal of the project is to purchase original images to create and populate a library that captures the genuine essence of Canada. I was 'over the moon' to say the least to be recognized and to have one of my painting images purchased for such a project.

Lavender Field (shown below), has been accepted by Google Canada and they have purchased all rights to this image.

Tips for the Artist in You

I am teaching classes over the next few weeks through the Seniors College. I am thoroughly enjoying teaching and getting to know these lovely ladies.

Next month, I have the opportunity to take a one day workshop with Maurice Bernard together with my Summerside Art Club.

I suggest that if you get a chance, you should continue to take courses to improve your painting. Each instructor will give you insights into new techniques. And you will get to meet some wonderful artists.

If you would like to reach out with a question, please hit reply to this email.

Happy Painting!!

In the Studio

I have been busy painting since my last email to you and have completed two beach paintings. I also brought out two fall paintings that I had set aside because they were just not coming together the way I wanted them to. I am pleased to say the rest has done them good and they are almost completed.

Artwork

Here is one of the beach paintings that I completed.

It is 11x14 on stretched canvas.
