Beach Rocks at Darnley is an oil painting I created some time ago. The original sold, but there are various print option sizes available.
It was recently showcased at the Summerside Arts Festival drive-thru art exhibit. I was fortunate to be included in this event and was able to provide a progression demonstration that highlighted a current painting I am working on.

In the Studio
Seven of the ten paintings have been completed for my Mill River fall series. I am now focusing on some other Island scenes that I have photographed this summer. One of course, is a beach scene and the other features a farm.
Stay tuned to see the completed pieces and help me name them.

Tips for the Artist in You
I have a few books that I have read recently.
One of my favourite is "Daily Painting" by Carol Marine (small sample). I think it is worth checking out.
It will give you insights as to what worked for her and what didn't in her painting trip.
